3 more amazing days and then back to the reality of April:

- Enjoy the warm weather the next few days! There is an elevated fire spread risk today with the breezy conditions and very low humidity this afternoon.

- There will be some showers at times this weekend, possibly later on Saturday and Saturday night and then hopefully most of the rain on Sunday holds off until the night, but there could be early morning showers and maybe a shower in the late afternoon.


LONG ISLAND FORECAST:

Today: Mostly cloudy early and then mostly sunny and breezy with very low humidity with highs near 80 in Nassau and in the upper 70's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end. Wind out of the WNW at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Tonight: Clear skies with lows in the upper 50's to near 60 in Nassau and mid to upper 50's in Suffolk, but cooler for the east end. Wind out of the W at around 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunny with low humidity with highs in the low to mid 80's in Nassau and northwestern Suffolk and around 80 or 81 in central in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end. Wind out of the W at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow night: Mostly clear with lows around 60 in Nassau and the mid to upper 50's in Suffolk, but cooler for the east end. Wind out of the WSW/W at around 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny with low humidity with highs in the low 80's in Nassau and northwestern Suffolk and around 80 in central Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end. Wind out of the W at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and then out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday: Cloudy with a 40% chance of some afternoon/evening showers with highs around 70 in Nassau and in the mid to upper 60's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind mostly out of the SE/ESE at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday: Cloudy with a 50% chance of early morning showers and then a 30% chance of a shower by late afternoon with rain mostly at night from the cold front with highs in the low to mid 60's in Nassau and low 60's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and especially the east end. Wind generally out of the ENE/E at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Monday: Rain likely early in the morning and then partly sunny in the afternoon with a slight chance of a shower with highs in the low 60's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind from varying directions at 10 to 15 mph.
