...days. Some snow and ice up north tonight in the northeast and unsettled weather with rain and times into Monday morning and large temperature swings/variations, and then cold next Tuesday night.⚠️⚠️
- Multiple long-tracked EF3+ tornadoes are likely later today into tonight for the eastern Ozarks, mid-Mississippi Valley, and lower Ohio Valley. There will also be damaging wind gusts and large hail. There is also a high risk of excessive rainfall and flooding the next few days. This is a life-threatening situation there.
- Some freezing rain, sleet, and snow for central to northern areas of the northeast tonight as the warm front lifts northeastward. It will change to rain from south to north into tomorrow morning.
- Multiple periods of rain for the northeast through this weekend with wide temperature swings and variations with the chillier conditions generally for today and Saturday, there will be some warm temps away from the coast on the other days.
- Cooler weather overall next week, especially next Tuesday/Wednesday with the coldest night being Tuesday night.
- There's a pretty good chance of unsettled weather from a storm system for NEXT weekend (April 12th/13th). The best chance for any snow would be in the mountains.
