***4 AM post with crazy humidity today and a 100° heat index for me in northern Nassau, and the National Hurricane Center finally has the right track***

- There will be some early morning scattered thunderstorms mainly north and west of NYC, with only a 20% chance of a thunderstorm between mid-afternoon and mid-evening on Long Island. Crazy humidity with dew points mostly in the mid 70's. Hot again tomorrow and only slightly less humid.

- The National Hurricane Center track looks good as the eastward shift has ended. Beryl will struggle to organize today, but it will intensify up to landfall tomorrow into late tomorrow night/ very early Monday morning.
