So, on the 5th of each month we get the new monthly forecasts from the Euro, which I posted last night, but every 4 days we get the new weeklies, which go out 45 days (for the snow maps). Until we get something in the short-term, this is all we have to go by. This is the new 45-day snow map from the ensemble mean, which takes an average of all 50 ensemble members. It's just to show a general idea of where the snow chances are. This map now goes through 7 PM on December 20th. It does show increased snow chances as compared to the previous run, but that's not surprising. The 2nd image shows the temperatures for Long Island, and you can see that for the most part, they are expected to be above average, which is also not surprising.
