60 degrees for LI today and 70 for NYC Thurs, but a chilly weekend as snow chances are low (not 0):

The details for Long Island are in the forecast below, but the sun will come out by around mid-morning and it will get up to around 60 degrees for most of Long Island today. Tomorrow will be a little cooler, but Thursday will be even milder with NYC probably getting up to 70 degrees with the mid 60's possible in Nassau. The cold front comes through on Friday so it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of a passing shower, but it will still be very mild. Much cooler for the weekend with breezy conditions with highs in the 40's.

As for next week, the next system will probably bring some showers to Long Island late Monday night or on Tuesday, although the Euro is showing some snow changing to sleet and rain. It's showing several inches of snow for southern New England, but I'm discounting it for now. It's still possible though as 6 Euro ensemble members are even showing accumulating snow for Long Island.
