Tropical development for the main system of concern is not imminent as some obstacles remain. The tropical wave is elongated and will also face some wind shear in the eastern Caribbean, and then there could be some land interaction. Wind shear will be much lower when it gets into the western Caribbean, so it may not be until the end of next week until it becomes a tropical cyclone, and it's not set in stone that it ever forms. I still feel like we eventually have to deal with a hurricane in the Gulf. Francine is the next name on the list.
