Amazing warmth before the cooldown with showers and still watching the potential system with...

... mostly (not all) higher elevation snow for late Halloween night into Wednesday:

- At least we finally get a dry (and very warm) Saturday before the showers at times on Sunday into Monday. A huge drop in temperatures though from near 80 on Saturday to near 60 on Sunday. - A chilly Halloween, but it looks dry until after dark for Long Island. - The GFS keeps it dry still, but the Euro (6th image) and Canadian (7th image) have the system bringing rain with some inland and higher elevation snow for late Halloween night into Wednesday, but there *may* even be some wet snow a little closer to the coast. - Former Tammy may still try to become tropical again, and a relatively weak system should come north from the central Caribbean across Cuba and the Bahamas next week and stay offshore (see last 2 images).
