***Another hot and very humid day for most, tornado threat ramped up for NY state with the flash flooding threat farther north, and the next heat wave is only days away!***

- You can see the heat index temperatures in the 2nd image, and with a strong southerly wind on Long Island this afternoon, it won't be quite as hot on the south shore and east end. Heat Advisory for Nassau and northwestern Suffolk.

- You can see in the 3rd image that we now have a 10% risk area for tornadoes today in western to central NY state.

- The heavy, flooding rain from the remnants have Beryl have trended even farther north/northwest as you can see in the 4th image from the HRRR model.

- It will be a 4-day heat wave for most areas from Sunday to next Wednesday with very high humidity most of the days with a cold front likely coming through next Wednesday night, so depending on the exact timing, it will be much less humid for most areas by Thursday afternoon. With some luck, the sunshine and low to moderate humidity will then last through next Sunday (July 21st).

- Still nothing expected in the tropics for the next 2 weeks!
