My Personal Weatherman™
Beautiful stretch of weather to be followed by the opposite as potential subtropical storm heads N:
- We will have 3 beautiful days now with low humidity before clouds increase on Friday, but it will still be a nice day. - An area of low pressure will likely develop east of Florida on Thursday and strengthen as it heads north, and it will probably acquires subtropical characteristics with a slight chance that it gets named before moving into the Carolinas Friday night or Saturday morning with gusty winds along the coast and especially offshore. Moisture out ahead of the system with likely bring rain to Long Island as early as late morning on Saturday, but stay tuned for any changes. It will be breezy and cooler with a period of heavy rain possible later in the day or in the evening/night. - Unsettled and humid weather then likely continues into the middle of next week with more rain chances at times. - The next 2 names on the list are Ophelia and Philippe, and it's a close call as to whether the potential subtropical system off the southeast coast or the eastern Atlantic storm gets named first.
