A system passes southeast of us later today and a cold front well north (see 1st image for 8 PM), so the northeast is basically dry until the front brings some showers Wednesday with some snow well north in the mountains (2nd image), and then cooler again and dry until some rain maybe for parts of next weekend for Long Island and southern areas (3rd image is for late Saturday night). Overall, it will be relatively cool, except for Wednesday ahead of the cold front, and then warmer weather next week (see 4th image):
