What a mess the major northeast storm for Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning is going to be, especially for those areas that get snow this weekend! Heavy snow changing to heavy rain from south to north for higher elevations. Close to 3 inches of rain for Long Island with the potential for max wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph for the coast and at higher elevations in the northeast.
