- There is uncertainty as to when the system would make its way northeastward as some of the ensembles have it for Wednesday and some have it for Thursday. The Euro (3rd image) and GFS are showing it more now for Wed night into Thursday. I have included the snow maps for the next 7 days from the Euro ensembles and the Model Blend.
- The core of the Arctic blast looks to be next Friday or Saturday with milder air by the middle of the following week. The GFS is actually showing insane cold for next Saturday with a high temperature of 10 degrees on Long Island with wind chills of -13 to -20 degrees (4th image), but that is very likely overdone.
