***Chilly morning with some showers to the north today, but overall a great stretch with low humidity and a warming trend late in the week and for the weekend with the tropics quiet for now***

- The upper level low spinning to the north will produce some showers with some downpours for mainly central to northern NY/New England. I doubt a shower will make it to Long Island later this afternoon.
- Beautiful days ahead with a warming trend and only slightly more humid by Sunday.
- There may be some afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms on Monday, but then dry weather returns.
- It will likely become VERY humid again for the middle and end of next week. The Euro still shows an approaching cold front at the end of its run, so maybe showers and thunderstorms on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, but it's WAY too early to be sure of the timing as it could easily slow down as well.
- The Euro ensembles still show only a weak signal for a hurricane to form by the end of Labor Day weekend.
