- It was an impressive thunderstorm for many areas with tree damage and gusts up to 60 mph with some getting gusts over 70 mph in southern New England.
- Rain is moving out now and nicer weather is coming, especially tomorrow with low humidity and cooler air!
- Humidity returns on Saturday, but most of the showers and thunderstorms should be later Saturday night and on Sunday, and it will be VERY humid, and there will be some locally torrential downpours possible.
- Nicer again early to mid next week with low to moderate humidity and comfortable temperatures before it gets warmer and more humid for the 4th of July, when, as of now, it looks like just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorms in the evening.
- All eyes turn to potential Hurricane Beryl that will head towards and through the Caribbean, and it will have a chance to become a strong hurricane. Stay tuned!
