- Potential Tropical Cyclone Five will become powerful Hurricane Ernesto after it turns north of Puerto Rico. Watching Bermuda very closely as the Euro has a direct hit as a Cat 2, but the trends have been for it to go a little farther west, so hopefully a little farther west.
- From the NHC: "Potential Tropical Cyclone Five is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 4 to 6 inches over the northern Leeward Islands. For Puerto Rico, 3 to 6 inches of rainfall, with maximum amounts of 10 inches, is expected."
- A few showers will swing through the northeast, but overall it will be a really nice week with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels. Humidity increases and showers approach from the west on Saturday. Hopefully any showers will hold off until evening on Long Island, but it's too early to tell.
