Euro ensembles not as bullish on the snow as the main Euro run:
While the 12Z Euro run showed a strong storm with huge snow amounts in New England, the ensembles aren't quite that bullish. It will all depend on if the northern and southern stream systems can phase in time. It's still going to be a big rain producer for Long Island and southeastern New England though (see last image).
I will post the 18Z Euro run when it comes out this evening.
The 3rd image shows the probability of greater than 1 inch of snowfall from the Euro ensembles, and the 4th image shows the projected snowfall from the Euro ensemble mean.
