As I predicted earlier, the National Hurricane Center now has the next potential storm as an area to watch, and this is the one I have been posting about yesterday and this morning.
Keep in mind when looking at the GFS making it a Cat 4 hurricane, that the GFS has a tendency to over-intensify these systems.
It does look like it would have the potential to turn generally northward or northwestward once it gets into the western part of the Caribbean Sea.
The 2nd image shows the GFS ensembles for the next 9 days.
I will post the new Euro ensembles later this afternoon.
