Generally colder and windier this week with some interior and mountain snow and then the potential system for Friday night into Saturday:

- With some Lake Effect snow and then the mid-week clipper, there will be a decent amount of snow to the west and north in the mountains.

- Basically dry all week for Long Island until Friday night with just a slight chance of a passing shower later on Wednesday from the clipper/cold front.

- Plenty of wind this week with the windiest day being on Thursday, which will make it feel very cold, especially in the morning. Wind chills in the low 20's on Long Island Thursday morning and Friday morning.

- There is still some uncertainty regarding exactly how the Friday night into Saturday system will play out, but since there is also the northern piece of energy, there is now a good chance of at least some rain on Long Island from Friday night into Saturday with possibly a little snow for parts of central NY/New England. Depending on how far north the southern storm comes, there could/should be higher rainfall totals from eastern Long Island to southeastern New England. I will continue to update.
