***Good morning! Update on the thunderstorms, beautiful weekend, tropics, and the heat wave with lots of maps!***

- Hot from NYC and areas to the west and southwest of there today and tomorrow (see 7th and 8th images).

- The timing of the thunderstorms is now a little later for tomorrow and may not reach Long Island until after 6 PM, and they will be weakening in the evening as they get to the coast (see 5th and 6th images).

- A beautiful Father's Day weekend with sunshine and low humidity with comfortable temperatures!

- Heat and humidity build next week, likely peaking on Thursday and Friday as summer begins!

- The National Hurricane HAS increased the chances of tropical development to 40% for the future system in the southwestern Gulf. The system off the east coast is still at 20% as there is a lot of wind shear, but it will still become a pretty strong storm, and you can see it on my future radar images below (5th and 6th images).
