- A nice day today for Long Island, and it will probably be the nicest day for a while.
- Cooler weather the next few days with an onshore flow and much more in the way of clouds.
- Shower chances start to increase on Thursday and become likely at times Friday to Sunday with high humidity and some thunderstorms also possible for the weekend. While it will be warmer (mostly near 80 degrees), it won't be anything near like the hot weather that the GFS had been showing.
- Invest 92L in the Atlantic is expected to become a Tropical Depression by tonight, and the tropical wave behind it is being given a 30% chance of tropical development by the NHC. As for Invest 92L (future Bret), there is still some uncertainty in how strong it gets and where it tracks, but the chances favor it staying relatively weak and heading into the Caribbean Sea, where it should eventually weaken.
