Here's the NAM with more info...

The NAM (1st image) has the highest totals northwest of NYC with some 5 to 9 inch amounts from the pivoting inverted trough. The HRRR (2nd image) has it for western Long Island into western CT with some localized amounts as high as 6 to 12 inches. I have included the official rainfall map from the Weather Prediction Center in the 3rd image. Stay tuned! I will post the future radar video from the NAM soon so you can see what it's showing.
