L.I. forecast with all of the details and then an interesting period with potential northeast snow:

- The details for Long Island are in the forecast below, but periods of rain today with temperatures reaching around 60 degrees before falling sharply later this afternoon and through the evening with windy conditions with a wind chill in the teens tonight.

- A couple of weaker systems from around Sunday night into late Tuesday night with the main system being Wednesday night into Thursday, and it will bring rain to Long Island and southern New England with the exact rain/snow line for NY state and New England being a little uncertain with the Euro having it the farthest south.

- After that though, it looks like a period of relatively colder (mostly near normal) weather from around Feb 25th to March 3rd with some chances for northeast snow, even on Long Island. Maybe a weaker system for next weekend with the best chance for a bigger storm possibly being around March 1st, but of course we will see how it all evolves.
