LONG ISLAND FORECAST:

Today: Mostly cloudy with some partial filtered sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 50's in Nassau and mid 50's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the SW at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and then out of the S at 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Cloudy with a 30% chance of scattered showers after midnight with lows in the mid 40's in Nassau and low to mid 40's in Suffolk. Wind out of the S/SSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, very mild, and becoming breezy with some showers at times with highs in the low 60's in Nassau and northwestern Suffolk and near 60 elsewhere, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the SSW at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Tomorrow night: Scattered showers and breezy with lows in the mid 40's in Nassau and low to mid 40's in Suffolk. Wind out of the SSW at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph in the evening and then out of the NW at 10 to 15 mph after midnight.

Friday: Mostly cloudy and cooler with highs in the low 50's. Wind out of the NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Rainy, breezy, and chilly with highs in the upper 40's. Wind out of the ENE at 10 to 15 mph in the morning and 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph in the afternoon/evening.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and windy with highs in the mid to upper 50's in Nassau and northwestern Suffolk and mid 50's elsewhere, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the W at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Monday: Increasing clouds with highs in the low 50's. Wind out of the N at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and then out of the SE at around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday: Showers likely with highs in the low 50's in Nassau and near 50 in Suffolk, but cooler for the east end. Wind out of the NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Would you say that our chances for any more snow is pretty much over for this winter?

I wouldn't completely rule it out yet as there is a very slight chance next week, but yeah it's basically over.
