There's still uncertainty as to exactly where the coastal storm forms and tracks, but the Euro and especially the NAM are showing higher rainfall totals for Long Island (check out the future radar from the NAM for 9 PM Friday in the 2nd image), and most of the rain may be Friday into Friday night. So let's see how it evolves and if the Weather Prediction Center increases their rainfall amounts for Long Island.
