***Latest snow maps for the northeast snowstorm early next week as the GFS is an outlier with snow farther south, so I buried its snow map in the last image, LOL***

- A mild stretch ahead the next few days before the storm with peak temperatures on Saturday.

- There is still uncertainty in the exact track and strength of the storm, so stay tuned for changes, but it generally looks like mostly rain for Long Island with snow for central/northern areas of NY/New England (see all snow maps below).

- You know about the cold weather behind the storm, and the next bigger snowstorm threat might possibly be around Feb 20th to 22nd.

- Many more posts to come today into tonight!
