- The details for Long Island are in the forecast below and I have also included a future radar video from the NAM from 8 AM today to 1 PM Sunday as most of the rain is today into tonight with some locally heavier rain with a chance for a thunderstorm. Scattered showers ending tomorrow with some breaks in the clouds possible by late afternoon from west to east.
- Looking to next week, it will be a chilly start, but much milder for Wednesday to Friday. There is uncertainty as to exactly when a cold front will come through, but it should be chilly by the time we get to Halloween.
- Tammy is projected to become a hurricane, so it will bring plenty of rain and wind to the northeastern Caribbean islands. It's projected to have a 90 mph peak after it moves north of the islands.
