Major northeast storm impacts with a Flash Flood Watch, torrential downpours, locally up to 4 inches of rain, possible thunder with a squall line, gusty winds, and a major snowstorm up north!

- The Flash Flood Watch now includes Long Island for 2 to 3.5 inches of rain.

- It appears that the highest totals have been shifting westward as the NAM is showing.

- Periods of heavy to possibly torrential rain with a squall line also developing and moving through tomorrow evening on Long Island with a rumble of thunder being possible.

- The wind will abruptly shift from SSE to NNW/N behind the front tomorrow night with gusts then up to 40 mph through Sunday.

- The snow will be changing to rain up north, except for the areas farthest north and northwest.

- I will be posting more rain, snow, and future radar maps this morning

- More rain for the middle to end of next week with the exact storm potential for next Fri/Sat being uncertain still, but the Euro ensembles are pretty bullish on it.
