... as the snow chances remain very low.
- The Euro is still showing temperatures dropping below zero on Long Island with wind chills of around -25 degrees, and the GFS is pretty close with an actual low temperature of zero degrees. The Euro ensemble mean low temperatures is 3 degrees, which is amazing for an ensemble mean this far in advance.
- The chances for a snowstorm on Long Island remain very low as you can see in the 3rd and 4th images, which are the 10-day Model Blend snow map and the Euro ensembles snow matrix for Long Island. There are a few (out of 50) showing snow potential around Feb 11th/12th, but that's a long way out, LOL.
