Progressively nicer weather coming, but we have to get through the next couple of days:

- A much cooler day today with some morning fog and drizzle at times with an onshore flow on Long Island. More fog, drizzle, and possible showers tonight, and then a more organized area of showers and possible thunderstorms in association with the cold front tomorrow from mid-afternoon into the evening. There will be a wide range of temperatures tomorrow from possibly the low 70's in northwestern Nassau to the mid to upper 50's for the south fork.

- While Friday and Saturday will be dry, there will be a good amount of clouds, and Saturday will be especially chilly. High pressure then dominates with sunny skies for Sunday into next week with a warming trend as you can see in the images below. Next Thurs/Fri/Sat look especially warm.
