Snow exiting and a look ahead:

- You can see the radar in the 1st image as snow will be ending this morning in the northeast, although it will linger into tonight for southeastern New England and a snow shower streamer is possible even away from the coast (see 2nd image for 8 PM).

- A weak clipper dives down well south of us mid-week and strengthens over the ocean and then another clipper with a cold front swings through New England Thursday night into Friday night with a shower possible on Long Island Friday morning from the cold front. Some snow will be likely for northeastern sections of New England as the storm strengthens offshore (the 4th image is for 7 PM Friday).

- It will be a very cold weekend into early next week.

- Then we have the strong southern storm that will travel through the Gulf Coast states and exit into the Atlantic with it most likely staying well southeast of our area in the northeast (the 5th image is 1 AM next Tuesday from the Euro). A little less than 10% of the Euro ensembles bring it close enough to bring snow to our area (the best chance, but still a very low chance, would be the coast).

- Then we gradually warm up later next week into that weekend before colder air probably returns around or just after Valentine's Day.
