Still a strong signal for the Saturday northeast storm and an update on future Tammy:

- While they can be a passing shower later today, not bad for the next couple of days and then 2 really nice days Wednesday and especially Thursday before the clouds increase Thursday night and showers develop on Long Island around Friday afternoon.
- While the exact details are still uncertain, it looks like an intensifying storm for Saturday as it heads northward somewhere near the coast or just offshore with the highest rainfall totals possibly being for Maine. I have included some rainfall maps below, and many more posts to come on this storm.
- Much cooler behind the storm for early next week.
- Tammy has continued to take longer to form, but it will still probably form in a few days and head towards the northeastern Caribbean islands. Hopefully it will only be tropical storm strength, but there is still a chance for it to become a hurricane as some Euro ensemble members are showing.
- The 1st image is for 8 PM Saturday from the Euro ensembles.
- The rainfall maps below are from the Weather Prediction Center, Model Blend, Euro ensemble mean, and Euro.

Excited for the winter post
