- After the "off" runs by the HAFS-A and HAFS-B yesterday evening, they are back on track and show rapid intensification!

  • Storm surge 10 to 15 feet!

- The National Hurricane Center is still projecting it to become a Cat 3!


- It will be a larger than normal hurricane for such a short lifespan, so the lower pressures may not correlate historically with the wind speed that you might expect.


- Big impacts likely for Tampa Bay, including a major storm surge and hurricane-force gusts.


- Also, with any landfalling hurricane, there will be tornadoes.


- Significant impacts all the way into Georgia and the western Carolinas.


- I have included rain and wind maps below and will continue to post the latest information all day!
