You can see the storm could be along the coast, which is a warmer solution with rain for Long Island and southern New England. Snow is still possible in the higher elevations of northern New England and NY state. It will still change, but as of now, the most likely outcome for Long Island is 1 to 2 inches of rain with max wind gusts in the 30 to 45 mph range with highs in the mid 50's.
Cold and very windy tomorrow with highs in the upper 30's with wind gusts over 30 mph, so the wind chill will be in the mid 20's all day for Long Island.
