The latest on Elsa:

Maximum sustained winds are 60 mph and it's expected to strengthen to around 70 mph before making landfall in Cuba, which will cause some weakening. Any re-strengthening after it emerges into the eastern Gulf will be fairly minimal due to moderate wind shear, so it's expected to be a tropical storm with maximum sustained winds of around 60 mph when it makes landfall along the west coast of Florida Wednesday morning. On Friday morning, it is expected to pass well southeast of Long Island.
