The Long Island forecast with some comments on the systems for the week with snow maps:

- We will have a powerful offshore storm today into tonight passing offshore which will be clipping southeastern MA with some rain with a slight chance of a shower by Montauk this morning (see 2nd image for 11 AM). The strengthening offshore storm will produce gusty winds out of the north, especially for eastern MA.
- Then we have a cold front moving through tomorrow evening (see 3rd image for 8 PM) which will produce some passing showers on Long Island with some snow mixed in for central to northern New England.
- The next system cuts to our west, so the warm front will be lifting through with some showers for Long Island from around late morning and in the afternoon/evening on Thursday. For northern New England, it will be some snow changing to a mix and then rain.
- Then we have the trailing system for Friday night into Saturday, which will probably bring some rain for Long Island with the potential for some snow in mainly northern New England.
- There are no snowstorms in sight for Long Island for the next 10 days.
