- You can see the impressive tornado threat in the 2nd image for tomorrow into tomorrow night for the lower to mid Mississippi Valley.
- A strong cold front will bring rain and wind to Long Island Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon/evening with some moderate to heavy downpours. Rainfall totals will generally be around a half-inch as it will not be a long duration event. A strong low-level jet will bring the potential for wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph on Long Island Wednesday late afternoon/evening with the potential for gusts as high as 55 mph in the normally windier spots right along the water and at elevation, and it's possible that a Wind Advisory will be issued. Temperatures will reach almost 60 degrees on Wednesday, but it will feel like winter Thursday morning with wind chill temperatures in the 20's.
- Maybe some showers later on Saturday into Saturday evening/night, but then likely dry early next week.
- As we head towards mid-December we start to see snow chances slowly increase, even for Long Island.
