- While there may be a lot of clouds around from tomorrow evening into Monday, no rain is expected for Long Island. - The next system for Tuesday tracks well to the north, so most of the rain will be north and west of Long Island, although we may get a couple of showers. The 2nd image is the Model Blend precipitation map through Wednesday morning. Any snow from this system would likely only be for extreme northern New England. - Cooler air moves in behind the system, so the next one around Thursday or so could bring snow a bit farther south.
