... New England, windy behind the storm, more rain for the middle to end of next week with uncertainty in timing for a potential Easter weekend storm***
- Wintry feel today with a very cold wind!
- Rainfall amounts have ramped up for Long Island with amounts as high as 3 inches expected. The timing is mostly from around 5 AM Saturday until just after midnight.
- Wind gusts generally up to 40 mph or so for the coast and then windy for everyone behind the storm for Saturday night and Sunday with breezy conditions continuing into Tuesday.
- More showers will work their way east for the middle to end of next week and there could be a storm Friday or Saturday, but timing and placement are uncertain.
- Model Blend shows up to 5.5 inches of rain for Long Island over the next 10 days with amounts up to 6 or 7 inches possible over the next 15 days.
