***Update on both storms***

- There is still a lot of uncertainty in the track of the potential snowstorm for Sunday. The GFS is holding firm (2nd image), and the Euro is now farther south and also keeps Long Island all snow, although it has much lower amounts (3rd image). The Euro ensembles still show many different solutions with some showing 10 to 15 inches for Long Island some showing almost nothing (4th and 5th images). The ensemble mean snow map is shown in the 6th image, and it has 5 inches for northern Nassau and 3 inches for southeastern Suffolk. Stay tuned!! - The Jan 9th/10th storm will still be a VERY strong storm with a track well inland with probably snow changing to rain for central to northern NY/New England (see 7th image) with all rain/wind for Long Island and southeastern New England. There is the potential for wind gusts up to 55 mph along the coast and at elevation.
