- I have included the video to show you exactly what the Euro is showing. It has the general idea that you already know about for Friday evening into Saturday late morning or early afternoon, but the timing is a little sooner, and it has a little more mixing and snow for Long Island overnight than expected. Again, the GFS is an outlier from the basic idea that the Euro, Canadian, and ICON are showing.
- As for the 2nd storm, the ensembles will be more valuable than just looking at this one run, and once again the GFS showing no storm in the area is an outlier as the other main models all have the storm. You can see here that this Euro run is showing an intensifying storm with a track that brings huge snow totals to the higher elevations of central to northern interior NY/New England.
- This video goes from 7 PM Friday to 7 PM next Tuesday.
- Since the 10:1 ratio Euro snow map isn't updating yet, I have included the Kuchera snow map below the video, but it often overdoes the higher amounts.
- I will have an update from the Euro ensembles, but I won't be able to get to it until sometime between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, and I will probably also make my one post for the week on the Facebook page this evening or tomorrow.
