***Mild and breezy then cooler with light wintry weather to the north and a dry and chilly weekend ahead with no big storms on the horizon, and a reminder about the new app version for iPhones***
- After some early showers, the sun will come out this afternoon and it will feel great with a warm breeze! - Much colder tonight and tomorrow. - Thursday is complicated as there will be a sharp temperature gradient depending on the placement of the warm as Long Island could approach 60 if it lifts just north of us, but there will be wintry weather as you head north in New England, especially at higher elevations. You can see the image from the NAM below (3rd image) with freezing rain, sleet, and snow as you head north. - The system for Friday should remain just south of Long Island, so hopefully not even a shower for us. - A nice and chilly fall weekend ahead with highs on Sunday and Monday only in the upper 40's with cold nights! - No big storms on the horizon as you can see the 10-day precipitation and snow maps in the 5th and 6th images. - As a reminder, the new version of the app for iPhones with a back button is now available.
