Update on Long Island forecast and the weekend system as well as the tropics:

***App launching at 6 PM, rainfall amounts have lowered/ pushed south with Sunday afternoon looking better, more showers for part of next week, stormy for the Gulf coast, and tropics still going as Sean has formed and Tammy may be coming soon and possibly Vince after that***

- As I posted last night, the My Personal Weatherman mobile app is officially re-launching at 6 PM today, so wait for my post at that time with further information. - As I posted about yesterday, the trend has been for the weekend storm to be farther south and more progressive, so rainfall amounts have been lowered, although the Weather Prediction Center has been slow to lower their amounts as they are still showing 1.5 to 2.25 inches for Long Island as the Model Blend is still showing those amounts. The GFS is around 0.5 to 1 inch, the Euro is mostly around 0.75 to a little over an inch, and the Euro ensemble mean is a little over an inch. The timing looks to be mainly from later in the morning on Saturday (although there can still be an early morning shower) or in the early afternoon out east and ending possibly around late morning to early afternoon from west to east on Sunday, but stay tuned for changes. We're not even within range of the NAM yet. - Another coastal system, this one weaker, will probably form around next Tuesday and be close enough to possibly bring some showers at times from Monday night into Wednesday morning, but there is plenty of time for changes with that. - Rain and wind for the Gulf coast into the southeast today into tomorrow morning from the non-tropical low, although it has a chance to become tropical (Tammy is next on the list) as it races towards Bermuda tomorrow night into Friday morning. - Tropical Storm Sean has formed in the eastern Atlantic, but it's going to stay weak and is nothing to worry about. There is even another tropical wave behind that one, which is rare for that part of the ocean in mid-October.
