***Update on potential Debby and the Long Island forecast with some classic early August heat, humidity, and thunderstorms.***

- The NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center is still at a 60% chance of tropical development as it looks like it probably won't form until this weekend as it gets to the Bahamas and closer to Florida and turns northward. The general idea from the Euro ensembles is for it to strengthen as it heads N/NNE towards and offshore from Cape Hatteras and then heads NE out to sea, but stay tuned as there is still uncertainty in the track, timing, and strength.

- You can see my Long Island forecast below as humidity continues with some thunderstorm chances and some hot days tomorrow and Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for NYC and Nassau from 1 PM today to 8 PM tomorrow, but I am surprised they issued it for today, even though with the humidity it will feel hot this afternoon.

- I will have plenty of updates throughout today into tonight.
