- You can see in the 1st image that it will be a relatively brief shot of cold air from around Feb 2nd to 7th with it being centered around next weekend.
- The ensembles actually look a little better than I expected for the potential snow for late next week with some ensembles also showing snow around the 6th as the cold air begins to depart.
- The ensemble mean for Long Island is 4 inches for the next 15 days, which is a fairly decent signal at this range.
- So, while it's still a relatively low chance overall, it's something to watch, and it will be my main focus for my updates/posts.
- The 2nd and 3rd images are the Long Island snow matrices with the 2nd image being the running total and the 3rd image showing the 24-hour snowfall.
- The 4th and 5th images are all 50 snow maps for the next 15 days from the Euro ensemble members.
- The 6th and 7th images are all 50 maps from the Euro ensembles for next Friday morning between 1 AM and 7 AM.
