- The details for Long Island are in the forecast below, and overall it looks like a typical system with rain and some wind with a period of moderate to possibly heavy rain with wind gusts up to 30 mph in Nassau and 40 mph for eastern Suffolk late Thursday night into Friday morning.
- Regarding secondary low pressure development, it looks like it will be mostly farther east (see 2nd image), but with the upper level low moving through and interacting with the offshore storm, some light rain and possibly wet snow is possible for portions of the northeast on Saturday, mostly central to eastern areas, but it doesn't look like a big deal right now.
