**Dreary again today and more rain for Friday, but then warm and dry starting Sunday, and Monday could approach 80 degrees, and an update on Philippe and future Rina***
- More drizzle and light rain at times today on Long Island, but it will finally dry out this evening, and we will have some partial sunshine for a couple of days. - When most of the models, apps, and the National Weather Service were showing it dry on Friday, I posted about the possibility of rain returning from offshore. Now it's a near certainty as rain will start around late Thursday night or early Friday morning on Long Island and continue into around Saturday morning. Amounts are still uncertain as the Weather Prediction is only showing light amounts, but the Model Blend has a little more, the Euro ensemble mean has over an inch, and the Euro is going a little crazy showing 2 to 6 inches, LOL. For now, I have only posted the Model Blend and Euro ensemble mean rainfall maps in the last two images. - Sunday into next week looks amazing with warm and dry weather. Monday should be the warmest day ahead of the mostly dry cold front, but even Tuesday will still be warm. - As for the tropics, I posted about it yesterday and the National Hurricane Center finally shifted their track and intensity for Philippe as it will weaken and become an open wave as it heads more westward. It actually may eventually become a part of a storm off the east coast, but nothing to worry about right now. - Invest 91L will become Rina and it should become a hurricane and curve northward before getting near Bermuda, but I will be posting updates. - I will post an update later as to when the My Personal Weatherman app will be ready for re-launch, so don't do anything yet.
