- While it will be all rain on Long Island with gusty winds up to 40 mph (see the forecast below for the timing/details), it will be snow changing to rain for areas to the north, and I have included the Model Blend snow map below. I will probably post a future radar video later this morning to give you a better idea of the timing for all areas of the northeast.
- The secondary storm will form along the cold front to the southeast and become a strong offshore storm, but it will stay offshore this weekend. So, Long Island will be dry and cold this weekend with a bit of a breeze.
- It will turn milder again next week with some showers possible by later Tuesday or Tuesday night and then rain late in the week, which could be a snowstorm for northern New England, but it's still 8 or 9 days away, so let's see how it evolves.
- It will turn a little colder then after the 21st and there will be slight chances for northeast snow, even on Long Island as some Euro ensemble members are showing, especially around the 25th.
