***Very active in the northeast with 4 systems in 9 days with some wintry weather as well for New England from the last 2 storms.***

- Rain today could be moderate to heavy at times for Long Island in the afternoon and early evening with 1 to 1.75 inches of rain.

- Tomorrow is very mild with party to mostly sunny skies with highs in the 60's inland and even reaching 60 degrees for western Long Island.

- Another system now for Tuesday brings another rainy day.

- The next storm then is for Wednesday evening into Friday morning with rain and wind for Long Island with some snow and ice for mostly higher elevations of central to northern New England.

- Then we have the storm that I have been posting about for about a week now for March 10th/11th (next Sunday/Monday), which can bring some snow to parts of the northeast, best chance is still in the higher elevations, but snow could be more widespread and farther south then the Thursday storm. It's still very uncertain, of course. Stay tuned!
