***Very strong signal for high winds for Long Island and coastal southeastern New England next Tuesday night or Wednesday morning***

I don't think I've ever seen a 50-member ensemble mean (average) max wind gust of 60 mph (52 knots) for Long Island at a range beyond 7 days! I'm not saying Long Island will have wind gusts up to 60 mph next Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but this is a very strong signal for at least a Wind Advisory, and I wouldn't rule out a High Wind Warning for Long Island and coastal southeastern New England. The 2nd image shows the max gusts in knots from the Euro, but they won't be as strong as shown.
