Warm then showers then chilly, but will there be a storm for Halloween night into Wednesday?

***3 more warm days then some showers followed by a chilly Halloween with a possible storm for Halloween night into Wednesday with some northeast snow?***

- Amazing warmth the next few days!

- Some showers at times Sunday/Monday with not a lot of rain overall for Long Island, but more to the north (see map below).

- The big question then becomes will there be a storm for Halloween night into Wednesday? The GFS says no storm and the Weather Prediction Center is showing rain remaining offshore, but the Euro and Canadian models have a storm for the northeast with snow for higher elevations of northern and western NY/New England, and there is support for it from a decent amount of the Euro ensemble members. This will likely become the main focus of updates going forward.

- Tammy has become post-tropical, but it's still producing hurricane-force winds for now. It will get closer to Bermuda before heading back eastward.

- A tropical system may develop in the southern Caribbean next week and head northward towards Cuba and then the Bahamas (see last image).
